“[Colum’s] strong presence made him very quickly an enormously important fix point within the group, since he is able to link great calmness, openness and a good sense of humor with an absolute professional attitude, total dedication to whatever he does and to others. He is not only a mature performer, but also a wonderfully inspiring teacher and guide. He is a very good team player and has excellent qualities to initiate, execute and reflect creative processes. I can only highly recommend him for teaching positions.”

“During the rehearsal period, Colum has proven to be of tremendous help… and this is where one of his finest qualities shines through - his ability to solve problems. He is innovative, versatile, generous and supportive and has often afforded me a sigh of relief after having found a solution for a seeming unresolvable conundrum.”

“His proficiency in using Commedia dell'Arte masks and his ability to engage in singing and dancing were particularly noteworthy. (...) His generosity in relating to his peers and the young students participating in the International Stage allowed Mr. Colum to play a central role in the creation of the [Commedia] Scenarios, which were later presented on tour in France and Veneto. Therefore, Mr. Colum is fully qualified to participate in the research, practice, and dissemination of the Art of Commedia both nationally and internationally.”

What i appreciate most about the course was how it helped me slow down and become aware of my body. It showed me that movement is

not just physical, but connected to how we think , feel, and show up every day.

I connected with my body and the things I never noticed about human gestures. Now I am more aware of how everything works, and what

it means.

I appreciate how thoughtful he was. The teacher always put in his 100% effort and showed how passionate he is about what he teaches,

genuinely wanting students to learn.

I actually liked this course I think the professor explained everything well and made sure we were having fun. When asking for help he took

his time explaining and making sure we understood enough to let us do it on our own. Our warm up was very fun. We start of the class by

bouncing a ball and then we jump rope, I think this was a great way of starting class.

I learned many breathing techniques that were very interesting, I learned to be more aware of yourself and those around you like spatial

awareness, Lastly I learned ways to improve on acting if I ever were to do it like for an example using a laban movement effort.

I learned that Body Movement class is not just about moving around. It’s about carefully watching yourself and acknowledging your own

movements.

Your movements can say a lot about the way you express yourself and how people see you.

Incredible! comme toujours! Thank you Colum. You're so talented at taking complex theatre theories and make them easy to understand and interpret and play with. it's so much fun to be in your class. I come out feeling like I've learnt so much physically and mentally and without taking notes or feeling heavily burdened with information. It's fantastic! Pleeeeeeease keep doing workshops forever (haha :D)

"A little late but I'd like to chime in! This is a class I really looked forward to because I needed it. We worked extensively on voice/breath and I left the class confident that I could continue to practice those techniques. Colum always makes the lessons approachable and fun. I realized by watching my baby-who is learning to speak- that she instinctively is practicing almost all of the exercises we had done during class. It's fascinating! So, if I need a refresher, I might just watch how she babbles."

Professor Morgan is a very strong teacher. He is very enthusiastic about theatre, and in turn has made me also more enthusiastic about theatre. He is very knowledgeable of the topics he teaches and encourages class participation often during lectures. He makes everyone in the class feel welcome.

He is super knowledgable about all things theatre history and it was very cool to hear about his story. I also liked learning the history through performing.

I just wanted to comment to say I really love Colum Morgan's class. He really knows his stuff and was very

interesting to learn under. I've taken a lot of theatre classes with a lot of different teachers, and I would highly recommend the department keeps him

on the staff.
